Augustana College secured both the offensive and defensive College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Soccer Student-Athlete of the Week awards following their final regular-season match. Freshman forward Matt Donahey was recognized for his contribution in a 4–0 win over Elmhurst, scoring two goals and providing two assists. Goalkeeper William Gabrielsson earned the defensive honor after saving all three shots on goal he faced, recording his third shutout of the season.
Donahey played the entire match and was instrumental in leading Augustana to victory. Gabrielsson faced a total of 16 shots during the game, with three on target, helping maintain a clean sheet for his team.
The CCIW also listed previous weekly honorees for both offensive and defensive categories throughout the 2025 season, representing several member schools including Wheaton, North Park, North Central, Illinois Wesleyan, and Millikin.
