One Will County resident 80 years of age and older tested positive for COVID-19 on June 27, according to numbers being reported by the Illinois Department of Public Health.

In total, there have been 392 positive cases reported in Will County among residents 80 and older, accounting for 6 percent of all cases in the county. Through June 27, Will County has reported a total of 6,577 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, 316 of which have ended with the victim's death.
