A. Animal Services Committee - Regular Meeting - Tuesday November 15th, 2022 

6. PROCUREMENT REQUISITIONS 

A. AS-P-0046-23 Recommendation for the approval of a contract to IDEXX Distribution Inc, for the purchase of SNAP tests and outside laboratory and radiology consultation services, for DuPage County Animal Services, for the period January 26, 2023 through January 25, 2027, for a contract total not to exceed $134,489.64. Exempt from bidding per 55 ILCS 5/5-1022 (c) “Competitive Bids” not suitable for competitive bids – Sole Source. 

7. BUDGET TRANSFERS 

A. Budget Transfers -- Recommendation to approve a Budget Transfer for Animal Services 1100-1300 for a total transfer of $29,500.00. Transfer Funds of $24,200.00 from Account #50040 (Part Time Help) to Account #50000 (Regular Salaries) and $5,300.00 from Account #50050 (Temporary Salaries) to Account #51040 (Employee Med & Hosp Insurance) to cover the increase in personnel expenses as a result of 2022 department salary increases and as the department reaches full staff for the first time since 2021. 

B. Budget Transfers -- Recommendation to approve a Budget Transfer for Animal Services 1100-1300 for a total transfer of $18,286.00. Transfer Funds of $5,000.00 from Account #53090 (Other Professional Services), $5,000.00 from Account #53807 (Software Maint Agreements), $3,500.00 from Account #52320 (Medical/Dental/Lab Supplies), $2,286.00 from Account #50050 (Temporary Salaries), $1,000.00 from Account #50040 (Part Time Help), and $1,500.00 from Account #51070 (Tuition Reimbursement) to Account #50000 (Regular Salaries) $14,805.00, Account #51010 (Employer Share IMRF) $1,320.00, and Account #51040 (Employee Med & Hosp Insurance) $2,161.00 to cover the increase in personnel expenses as a result of 2022 department salary increases and as the department reaches full staff for the first time since 2021.
