December 28 Criminal Damage to Property At 7:54 a.m. officers responded to Top & Tile, 7885 Lemont Road for an attempted burglary. The victim advised that the front window was shattered, but nothing appeared stolen. Security video

showed unknown offender break the window at approximately 2:48 a.m. The estimated value of damaged window $2,000.

Retail Theft At 5:35 p.m. an officer was dispatched to Walmart, 2189 75 Street for a retail theft. The loss prevention official observed the offender under-ringing items at the self-checkout registers. Jule Satchell, 55, 4720 N. Sheridan Rd, Chicago was cited for retail theft. Satchell was issued a court date of February 24, 2022 at the DuPage County Judicial Center.

December 31 Damage to Property At 11:19 a.m. an officer was dispatched to the 7100 block of Exner Road for a damage to property report. The victim advised sometime between midnight and 11:00 a.m. unknown offender by unknown means damaged the driver’s side window on a vehicle parked in the driveway. The estimated value of damaged window is $500. There is no additional information at this time.

January 1 Domestic Battery At 2:16 a.m. an officer observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed in the 1400 block of 75 Street. Upon stopping the vehicle the officer observed the passenger had blood on her face and mouth. Thedriver had blood on his hand. SeanSuarez,34, 2305 BirchwoodWay, Woodridge

was charged with two counts of domestic battery and speeding. Suarez was transported to the DuPage County Jail.

Driving While License Suspended th At 2:43 p.m. officers were dispatched to the intersection of 87 Street and Lemont Road for an accident. While conducting the accident investigation, the officer identified one driver had a suspended driver’s license. Kajiv Fowler, 29, 8617 Kedvale Avenue, Skokie was cited for driver while license suspended and operatingan uninsured motor vehicle. Fowler was issued a court date of February 17, 2022 at the DuPage County Judicial Center.
