Analysis: Warrenville pays $3.96 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Warrenville Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 79.5 percent of the $1,424,156 the Warrenville Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $3.96 for every $1 from pension members, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Warrenville contributed $1,132,335 to the fund, which saw a $40,885 decrease in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $285,759, or 20.1 percent, in 2018. Another $6,062 came from other unspecified sources.
