Citizens to Elect David J Sabathne owes $37,475 in fines

The campaign committee Citizens to Elect David J Sabathne owes a $2,475 fine imposed on Nov. 18, 2015, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $35,000 with David J. Sabathne listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 23 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $136,584.23 in pending fines.
