VILLAGE OF LISLE: Nomination Papers, Filing Dates for April 2, 2019 Election

Village of Lisle issued the following announcement on Sept. 17.

Tuesday, September 18, 2018, is the first day that individuals interested in becoming a candidate for Village Trustee can pick up petitions at the Village of Lisle Business Office and circulate them for signatures. The minimum number of signatures required on the candidate petitions is 210. There are three, 4-year Village Trustee positions that will appear on the ballot for the April 2, 2019 Consolidated Election.

The first day to file the candidate petitions is Monday, December 10, 2018 and the last day to file is Monday, December 17, 2018. Filings can be made at Lisle Village Hall, 925 Burlington Avenue in Lisle, 60532, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Candidate Nomination Papers Required to be Filed Include: 

1.   Nominating petition sheets

2.   Statement of Candidacy

3.   Original Receipt for filing of Statement of Economic Interests form with DuPage County Clerk

4.   Loyalty Oath (optional)

To File an Objection:

Objections to nominating papers will be received in the same office where nominating papers are filed. The last day to file objections is December 26, 2018.
