NAPERVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT: Naperville Man Faces Public Indecency Charge following August 15 Incidents

Police 08

Naperville Police Department issued the following announcement on Aug. 27.

Naperville Police have charged a 25-year-old Naperville man with public indecency following two separate incidents in which he exposed himself to several adult women.

At approximately 3:30 p.m. on August 15, 2018, Naperville Police were dispatched to the area of 87th Street and Keim Road for two separate reported incidents of a man a silver SUV who had been seen masturbating in his vehicle by three different women. The subsequent investigation lead to a single count complaint for Public Indecency (Class A Misdemeanor) and the issuance of an arrest warrant for Luke J. Pigott, 25, of the 3500 block of Stackinghay Drive in Naperville.

Pigott turned himself into police on August 22, 2018, posted bond and was released. His court date is pending in Will County.

The Naperville Police wish to remind the public and the news media that a charge is merely an accusation, and a defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
