CITY OF ELMHURST POLICE DEPARTMENT: Elmhurst Police conducting public safety training exercises

City of Elmhurst Police Department issued the following announcement on June 5.

The Elmhurst Police Department in conjunction with the Elmhurst Fire Department will be conducting several public safety training exercises hosted at Churchville Middle School during the month of June. 

Residents in the area are being contacted so they know to expect to see additional police, fire, and ambulances in their neighborhoods and surrounding areas for the purposes of training.

First responders will be participating in joint exercises and training during the afternoon hours in the area of Churchville Middle School at 155 Victory Parkway, Elmhurst on:

June 7th

June 21st

June 28th

The City’s public safety departments work closely together to perform regular training drills each year to better ensure effective and safe responses during times of crisis. Residents or motorists in the area are being asked to please respect any posted signs warning them that training is in progress and to stay away from the area.
