Analysis: Woodridge pays $4.46 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Woodridge Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 81.7 percent of the $2,465,003 the Woodridge Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $4.46 for every $1 from pension members, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Woodridge contributed $2,014,246 to the fund, which saw a $200,147 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $450,757, or 18.3 percent, in 2016.
