Rey Colon 35th Ward Committeeman owes $6,975 in fines

The campaign committee Rey Colon 35th Ward Committeeman owes a $3,500 fine imposed on Sept. 2, 2016, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $3,475 with Rey Colon listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 172 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $995,091 in pending fines.
