Illinois governor, AFSCME remain deadlocked in contract talks

More than a year after talks between Gov. Bruce Rauner and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees were said to have reached an impasse in negotiations over the union's contract with the state which expired on June 30, 2015, all efforts to agree on new terms have been fruitless.
