The Village of Downers Grove Council recently appointed Marge Earl to fill the vacancy created when David Olsen resigned to accept an appointment to serve as the 81st District State Representative.
Earl currently serves as chairperson for the village's Zoning Board of Appeals and sits on the Comprehensive Planning Ad-Hoc Committee.
"I'm thrilled to announce the appointment of Marge Earl to the Village Council," Mayor Martin Tully said. " She has been a stalwart board and commission member which gives her great insights on the key issues facing our community,"
Earl will be officially sworn in on Sept. 6.
