Warrenville Planning Commission works on Settlers Point development
The City of Warrenville, Illinois Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals reviewed several zoning variance cases during its recent regular public hearing.
Petitions on the docket included a request from the owner of a property at 3S544 Curtis Ave. for a minor increase in the maximum height permitted in the R-5 High-Density Single Family Residential zoning district from 32 feet to 35 feet.
There was also a request for approval of a final plat of subdivision and final PUD plans for Settlers Pointe Subdivision, near Rockwell Street and Stafford Place, allowing for redevelopment of the 4.3 acre Civic Center site, which is owned by the city. Future plans call for 34 single-family homes at this location.
