DuPage transportation committee approves contract for geese control

The DuPage County Transportation Committee approved three contracts during its meeting on Feb. 16.

A contract was issued to Knox Swan and Dog LLC for geese control services through Feb. 28, 2018. The contract has a ceiling total of $9,600. 

The committee also approved a contract with Jerry Haggerty Chevrolet Inc. for repair and replacement parts for the county's Chevrolet vehicles on an as-needed basis. The contract, worth $19,800, begins on April 1 and concludes on March 31, 2017, with an option for renewing.

The third contract was with Rush Truck Centers of Illinois Inc. for Cummins engine repair services and replacement parts. Extending until Feb. 28, 2017, the contract is not expected to exceed $20,000. 

All the contracts were approved unanimously.
