Residents of Downers Grove who wish to participate in early voting for the March 15 general primary election will have the opportunity to submit their votes in advance this year.
Downers Grove is an official early voting site for 2016.
Early voting will be available from Feb. 29 through March 12 in the Committee Room at Village Hall, located at 801 Burlington Ave. The hours for early voting will be 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Early voting allows residents to vote at a time which is convenient for their schedule. Unlike with absentee voting, a citizen is not required to request an approval for early voting.
