The Downers Grove Environmental Concerns Commission will hear two more green presentations from local businesses as part of its Green Business Initiative during the commission’s regular meeting 7 p.m. Thursday in the Village Hall Committee Room, 801 Burlington Ave.
Laura’s Hair and Nail Studio and Pediaprogress will make their presentations before the commission at this meeting.
The commission also will hear a presentation on the dangers of leaf blowers.
Also on Thursday, the village’s Stormwater and Flood Plain Oversight Committee will meet at 7 p.m. in the Public Works Facility Conference Room, 5101 Walnut Ave. That meeting’s agenda includes a review of the 2015 Annual Report and a Stormwater Utility Report for last month. The committee also will set its meeting schedule for the year.
