The city of St. Charles has announced that Illinois Street, between First Street and Riverside Avenue, will be closed to all through traffic from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.
The road closure will give crews full access o construct water utility connections within the new development site on First Street.
Access to and from Fox Island Square will remain open during work hours.
