Property tax appeal seminar in Lombard set for July 30

Cullerton

State Sen. Tom Cullerton (D-IL) will host a Property Tax Appeal Seminar with York Township Assessor Deanna Wilkins on Thursday.

The seminar will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Helen Plum Library, 110 W. Maple St., Lombard.

“If you are looking for ways to find savings on your property tax bills, I urge you to take advantage of this seminar,” Cullerton said.

Residents are asked to bring with them an appraisal, if done the last year and a half; closing statement, if the home was purchase in the last year; property tax bill; and valid state identification or driver's license.

The seminar is part of a series of Property Tax Seminars hosted by Cullerton this summer.

“These seminars are a valuable resource," Cullerton said. "It is important to give area residents the necessary tools to save money.”
